What season of life are you experiencing, and which of life’s pivotal times brought you inspiration? Artists of the Seasons of Our Lives exhibit responded to this question with work sparked by moments in time. Viewers were encouraged to examine their own “seasons of life” as they experienced the exhibition, which included paintings, sculptures, and textiles, along with literary and musical compositions.

The Central Ohio Branch of The National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) is a diverse group of professional writers, artists, musicians, and allied artists. Their show included collaborations among their members as well as individual works of fine art and composition.

Seasons of Our Lives was held first at The Works, Ohio Center for History, Art and Technology in Newark, Ohio, from April 13 to July 6, 2018. The show was then held at the Carnegie Gallery, Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Library in Columbus, Ohio, from July 11 to August 24, 2018.

Dawn Petrill addressed those present at the Carnegie Gallery opening reception.
