Darlene Yeager-Torre – Bryn du Art – March 2024
Darlene Yeager-Torre has two works juried into the 20th
Annual Bryn Du Art Show in Granville, Ohio.
Both encaustic mixed media
works are part of a series Yeager began last summer with a grant from
the Greater Columbus Arts Council. The series is based on an aarticle by
Carl Sagan called the “Pale Blue Dot.” Each work contains a tiny pale
blue dot of color reminding us that we all have a grave responsibility
to one another and to planet Earth, “… to preserve and cherish the
pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”
