Artist Member Dawn Petrill in Holiday Events

Artist member, Dawn Petrill, has announced that she will be showing and selling her work at the following 2017 holiday events:

November 15 – Holiday Hop at St. Brigid of Kildare, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin, OH43017, 6 to 9 p.m.

November 18 through December 30 – Holiday Fair, Mansfield Art Center, 700 Marion Ave., Mansfield, OH 44906, Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

December 2 – Holiday Bazaar, Jerome High School, 8300 Hyland Croy Rd., Dublin, OH 43016, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

December 8 – Holiday Wine and Canvas (Proceeds benefit Welcome Warehouse)

Artist Members Jeny Reynolds and Vivian Ripley to Have Works in Kentucky Watercolor Society Show

Artist members, Jeny Reynolds and Vivian Ripley will both have works on display in the upcoming Aqueous 2017 Kentucky Watercolor Society Show in Louisville, Kentucky, November 14 to December 23.

Artist Member Vivian Ripley Show Underway

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Artist member Vivian Ripley’s show, A Creative Journey, in Brownlee Hall at First Community Church, is now up and continuing through November.

Thirty works in pastel, watercolor, and acrylic are on display, including some different techniques, plein air painting, and different subject matter.

The church is open every weekday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, sometimes on Saturday, and of course on Sunday. Call the church for Saturday hours.

Vivian invites everyone to a reception in Brownlee Hall on Thursday, November 2, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Writer Member Brenda Layman’s Article in Ohio Valley Outdoors Magazine

Writer member Brenda Layman’s article, “‘Uncle Bill’s’ Outfitters is the Place for Hunting Success,” appeared in the Fall 2017 edition of Ohio Valley Outdoors magazine. She is also a member of the Outdoor Writers of Ohio, and is a frequent contributor to the magazine.

Artist Member Abby Feinknopf’s Collage at Studios on High – Members Invited

Artist member, Abby Feinknopf, will have an acrylic collage at Studios on High, 686 N. High Street, Columbus, OH, in their upcoming show, “Hit the Hop.” The show opens on September 2nd for the Gallery Hop.

NLAPW members are invited to join Abby at the Artists’ Reception, Sunday, September 10th, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Recommended parking is at the Pizutti Garage on West Lincoln. Street parking is also available. There is no fee for the show.

 

Writer Member Rosalie Ungar Coming to Gramercy Books

Writer member, Rosalie Ungar, will be appearing at Gramercy Book store in Bexley, Ohio, this Saturday, August 26th from 1 to 4 PM.

Come and browse the bookstore while Rosalie and other local authors sign and sell books. Rosalie will offer both of her books: No Sex in St. Tropez and IN A HEARTBEAT: The Ups and Downs of Life with Atrial Fib.
