Vivian Ripley Showing Work in Delaware



Musician and artist Vivian Ripley was featured in the May 2018 issue of Columbus Monthly. She is a professional pianist, a music instructor, and painter. The article, “Vivian Ripley’s Endless Passion,” is also published on the Columbus Monthly website.
“Red Iris,” created using Vivian Ripley’s “water method,” recently took best of show at an exhibit at the McConnell Arts Center In Columbus, Ohio. Her special watercolor technique is spotlighted in a chapter in “The Watercolor Landscape Techniques of 23 International Artists.” Her paintings are in collections in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, France, and Japan.

Artist members, Jeny Reynolds and Vivian Ripley will both have works on display in the upcoming Aqueous 2017 Kentucky Watercolor Society Show in Louisville, Kentucky, November 14 to December 23.

Artist member Vivian Ripley’s show, A Creative Journey, in Brownlee Hall at First Community Church, is now up and continuing through November.
Thirty works in pastel, watercolor, and acrylic are on display, including some different techniques, plein air painting, and different subject matter.
The church is open every weekday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, sometimes on Saturday, and of course on Sunday. Call the church for Saturday hours.
Vivian invites everyone to a reception in Brownlee Hall on Thursday, November 2, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
