Jennifer Hambrick to Give World Premiere Readings

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Columbus’ Sunday at Central concert series has commissioned Jennifer Hambrick to write new poems to accompany Vivaldi’s masterwork, The Four Seasons. She will be giving the world-premiere readings of her new poems in a concert Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. in the Ohio History Connection’s Arthur C. Johnson Auditorium. Four violinists from the Columbus Symphony Orchestra will perform as soloists in Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and the performance will also include projected visuals mixed live in real-time by Denison University faculty artist Christian Faur.

Renate Fackler’s Sculptures in Gallery Show

Renate Fackler will be showing her work at Gallery 22 in Delaware, Ohio, along with artist James Mason. Fackler will be exhibiting sculpture and Mason will be exhibiting paintings.
The show opens July 5, from 6-8:30, at Gallery 22, 22 East Winter Street, Delaware, 43015. Gallery 22’s hours are 6-8:30 p.m., Friday through Saturday. The show runs through August 24th.

Dawn Petrill Artist of the Month Show in September

Dawn Petrill has been named an Artist of the Month by the Ohio Art League. Her work will be shown at First Commonwealth Bank, 647 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, during the month of September, 2019. A reception is planned for Saturday, September 7.

Abby Feinknopf Showing at Urban Acupuncture

Abby Feinknopf will have an exhibit of her paintings at Urban Acupuncture for the months of April and May, with an opening reception from 6-8, Friday, March 29th.

Urban Acupuncture is located at 3389 N. High Street, Clintonville. There is street parking and additional parking in the Kroger parking lot, on North Broadway, just west of High St.

 

Sydney Schardt at Columbus Museum of Art

On April 7, 2019, Sydney Schardt will be one of ten women participating in Wild Women Writing at 2:00 p.m. at the Columbus Museum of Art, 480 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Renate Fackler’s Bronze Sculptures Featured

Renate Fackler’s bronze sculptures are featured in “Urban Pocket Prairie,” in the Spring and Summer edition of  Home and Garden, which features German Village garden delights, including Renate’s meadow-like garden. A colorful full-page photo shows her bronze sculpture “Cultivating Beauty,” which is tucked among the perennials showcased in her garden. She has also been commissioned to proceed with two life-sized bronze sculptures for St. Mary’s Church and a Meditation Garden. German Village and St. Mary’s Church are in Columbus, Ohio.

Veena Bansal Show at Copious

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Veena Bansal has an art reception planned for her two month show at Copious Restaurant, 520 South High St. Columbus. OH 43215 on Wednesday, March 6th from 6 – 8 p.m. The show runs through April 30, 2019.

Veena was born and raised in India. She has been a Columbus resident for the past 48 years, during which painting has been her great passion. She expresses herself in various styles, and in oils, acrylics, and mixed media.
