Bev Goldie’s Encaustic Work in Kansas City Stockyards Gallery Exhibition

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

 

Bev Goldie’s encaustic mixed media work, “But I Digress,” was accepted into the nationally juried encaustic exhibition, “Wax Works,” in Kansas City, Missouri. The exhibition takes place at the Kansas City StockyardsGallery from June 18 to July 10, 2021. They will have a virtual gallery on their website. More information is also available on the site.

There is no cost to view the exhibition.

Central Ohio Branch Welcomes Four New Members

On June 1, Central Ohio Branch NLAPW met at Rocky Fork Country Club in Gahanna, Ohio, for lunch and the last meeting for the 2020-21 year. Happy to be together in person again, each member brought a work completed during the pandemic. Art membership chair, Darlene Yeager-Torre, presented four new members with their National League of American Pen Women certificates of membership. (Left to right, top to bottom) We welcome Rebecca Williams Zelanin, Ann Alaia Woods, Evangelia Phillippidis, and Joni Meeker as Active Art Members. Fabric Artist Deborah M. Anderson designed and fabricated a 7 foot by 3 foot banner for the First Congregational Church, 444 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. The banner was dedicated on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.
