Writer Member Rose Ann Kalister Publishes Debut Novel

Rose Ann Kalister, award-winning playwright and author, has published her debut novel, Sister of Saidnaya. It is the story of Nadra, a young Syrian woman who arrives in the United States in 1922 and settles with her family in Hedley, West Virginia. The young immigrant navigates life in an industrialized nation, struggling to balance the expectations of her heritage with the opportunities of her new world.

Artist Member Veena Bansal’s Painting in CMOA Show

Veena Bansal is among the artists whose work has been accepted into the Columbus Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser, “An Evening with Art”, occurring Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, 6:30-9:30pm. Her painting, “One Fall Morning” will be on display and available for bidding.

Writer member Margaret Leis (Peg) Hanna has published her second book, Peanut Butter on the Wall & Marshmallows in the Microwave, Memories of Raising Six Hannas in Gahanna. Each chapter reveals true stories of the trials and joys of raising six children.

Writer Member Abby Feinknopf Featured in GreenCraft Magazine

Abby Feinknopf’s writing and artwork are featured in the current, Winter issue of GreenCraft magazine. The article features Abby’s Fabric Storybooks, which she designed, wrote and illustrated into an entirely fabric, washable and baby-safe book. These launched her commissioned art business in 2003.
