Dawn Petrill in Upcoming Holiday Events

The artwork of Dawn Petrill will be featured at the following events during the holiday season:

– Nov. 10- Dec. 8- Dublin Art League Fall Exhibit- Dublin Recreation Center- 5600 Post Rd., Dublin
– Sat., Dec. 1- 10AM-3PM- Dublin Jerome Holiday Bazaar- 8300 Hyland Croy Rd., Dublin
– Sat., Dec. 8- 9AM- Noon- Dublin Art League’s Holiday Art Gift Boutique- Dublin Rec. Center- 5600 Post Rd.

There is no cost for any of these events.

Veena Bansal Awarded First Place by Worthington Art League

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Veena Bansal won first place in an exhibit presented by the Worthington Art League. Veena’s winning entry was an oil painting of a landscape featuring a mystifying village in France. Congratulations, Veena!

Cathy Schock Achieves Dual Membership

Central Ohio Branch member, Cathy Schock, has been awarded her second membership in the National League of American Pen Women. Cathy now holds membership in both Art and Letters categories. Congratulations, Cathy!

Brenda Layman Publishes Article on Wildlife Artist

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Brenda Layman’s article, “PA Wildlife Artist Selected for 2019 Duck Stamp,” was published in the Summer 2018 issue of Ohio Valley Outdoors magazine. The article features artist Jocelyn Beatty and her winning painting of a pair of redhead ducks.

Bev Goldie Wins Research Grant

National League of American Pen Women Central Ohio Branch

Artist Bev Goldie was recently awarded the Aminah Lynn Robinson Professional Development & Research Grant. Goldie was selected by  Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, Members of the Columbus City Council, and the Greater Columbus Arts Council. She plans to use the funds to underwrite a trip to Santa Fe for the Encaustic Institute’s biennial conference and workshops.
